Kasai Sushi Bar and Kitchen

Went here tonight for a friend’s birthday party. The manager was extremely rude to me when I asked if we could add a chair to the end of the table for my friend. He said “absolutely not! I will not have my server serving over people’s heads”. Yet, the booth next to us had a chair at the end of the table with a kid sitting in it that the server had to serve over his head! AND because the set up of our table was booth seating on one side with four tables pushed together, the waiter had to serve over EVERY SINGLE PERSONS HEAD at our table! On top of that, the food and service were awful. At first, I thought it was just the food prepared in the kitchen: the ginger dressing had no flavor and neither did my katsu chicken. But I ordered sushi to go, got home and tried it, and it was bland too! How do you manage to make sushi bland?! And the service was awful! All twenty people in my party had their food long before I got mine, and I’m just sitting there…waiting for ten minutes after everyone else got their sushi and kitchen food. Don’t waste your money paying $16-20 a roll at this place. Honestly, Publix has better sushi for cheaper.

This place is the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to. The food is very carefully prepared and very good. Know the manager Adam and several waitresses by name who are our preferred . Naveah and Karson. Food always comes out fast and very fresh, full of flavor. Drinks are also well prepared. This is one of our favorite spots in town. Highly recommend and coming from South Florida where you have a variety of restaurants in every corner? Yeah, this place is that good.

We have been here so many times and loved it! Their food is excellent quality and service is great. The fish is always fresh and so tasty. My husband loves their creative sushi rolls. My only complaint was that it was quite loud last time we went! Could not hear the conversation at our own table. They also did not cook my salmon properly and it was still raw after sending it back twice and many apologies from the kitchen. Every other time has been superb.

This place is really good! I had the katsu don with pork and it was huge and super tasty. It comes with egg and when I tell you there was so much egg, it was soooo good. My bf got the Kasai roll which was also very good he said. My only complaint is that we ordered the lava cake and when the bill came, there was an extra $5 for barely 2 scoops of ice cream. We were not told that ice cream is an extra charge and $5 is an excessive charge for that. But the interior is really nice, super clean and lots of seating. The staff here is also very nice.

Every piece of sushi was expertly prepared and incredibly fresh. I was particularly impressed with the variety of rolls available. The flavors were so vibrant and well-balanced. It's definitely a place I would recommend to any sushi lover. I was incredibly impressed with the level of care we received. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. I would highly recommend this establishment based on the service alone.
